Great Words by a great Leader-Reagan

Here is a video and some text on a speech given by Pres. Reagan before he was president while campainging for Barry Goldwater.

I believe these words hit a tone with all of us, weather your a demorcrat, republican, independant or even someone who has switched parties.

Even if you don't like Reagan, please watch the entire video, I believe it shows what a real leader looks like. Just like the great speeches given by MLK, Lincoln and Kennedy.

And we've just had announced that the dollar of 1939 will now purchase 45 cents in its total value.

This quote really make me think about what the government would do to private insurance companies if UHC took place.

This quote really make me think about what the government would do to private insurance companies if UHC took place.

Meh, he was still a bully that spent like a drunken sailor every chance he got and couldn;t align his actions with his words. I do blame him personally for not paying closer attention to the AIDS epidemic.

All of it? I didn't watch any of it. The mere sound of that man's voice, the thought of watching him doe his head wagging thing, and the words from the Grecian formula infected brain are enough to make me lose my lunch.

Maybe. I just don't understand how Reagan can run up a huge deficit and people say he was so fiscally conservative nor do I understand why people excuse him selling arms to our enemies.

Really? I think Jimmy Carter's domestic policies were pretty much a disaster. How's that for adoration?

Another great quote from Reagan:

"I am not worried about the deficit. It is big enough to take care of itself."

Actually, he was a pretty likable guy, but the idea that UHC is somehow at odds with freedom... Kind of irrational.

One needs only to look at the two Nations most like the US in the world, UK and Canada. We have the same root-Laws, and a lot of the same culture and values.
