Something that never ceases to amaze me is how Liberals yap ad nauseam about the intolerance of Conservatives, because they themselves prove time and time again that they are some of the most hate-filled people in America. Case in point, the Landover Baptist Church website. This site is not run by Baptists, it’s not run by Christians of any type for that matter, it is a Liberal website touted as a parody of Conservative Christians.

This fairly lame website routinely denigrates minorities and espouses some of the most vile hate speech I have ever read. In the past, the website has displayed cartoons of Black People with gigantic lips eating watermelon, referred to Asian People as “buck-toothed” and unintelligible, and likened Jews to cockroaches. What does it say about Liberals, when they praise such a website for the genius of its humor?

Al Franken once said that just because the target of satire doesn’t “get it,” doesn’t mean that the satire isn’t funny (the comment was aimed at Fox News’ O’Reilly). Well, I guess that’s true, but shouldn’t people other than contemptuous bigots think something is humorous in order for it to qualify as satire? While spewing hatred under the guise of mocking others is not funny, it is very revealing.

You should read Neal Boortz, "The Terrible Truth about Liberals." He defines liberals and conservatives very well, IMO. I read snippets of Al Franken's "Rush is a big fat..." and it seemed to be just a big rant with humor only the blind faithful would find funny.

Thats bull. Liberals dont yap on and on about how conservatives are bigots. There are millions of liberals in the US, maybe 5 say so. You're jsut taking the word of a few and putting it in the mouths of millions. You're wrong plain and simple. I've lived in Massachusetts for 10 years. Not a single person has ever made such a statement in my presence. I could say the same sort of thing. "I'm sick of how conservatives keep saying that liberals say that conservatives are bigots." And EVERYONE says it, so I know the millions of conservatives say so too.

Huh? Yet another example of a raving, hate-filled, bigoted Liberal.

And let me tell you, it is NOT easy to be a conservative, and be a Bush supporter in this state. For people who claim to be so "tolerant" of other people's ideas, liberals seem only to include this for anyone other than conservatives. I can't tell you how many jeers or insults I've gotten for having GOP bumber stickers or wearing Bush election pins. I've compromised my grade in many classes (and was forced to drop from one course which cost me not only a lot of money, but also set me back from graduating on time) simply because I had to respectfully disagree with professors who were bashing our nation. Put yourself in my place and I guarentee you would change your mind about the tolerance of the left....

On behalf of liberals, allow me to apologize. There are thugs and idiots on all sides, of course, but that doesn't excuse them. I'm particularly appalled at professors that don't tolerate political dissent in their classrooms. They of all people should be aware of the need to encourage intellectual debate.

Most of us aren't like that.

I'm reminded of the law of averages. Say a black person is walking along a busy street, one that handles 50 cars a minute. It takes them 10 minutes to get to where they're going. During that time, one idiot in a passing car yells something offensive at them.

Do you think they'll remember the 499 cars that passed without saying anything? No. They'll remember that they got hassled.

I try to separate the actions of the few from the beliefs of the many. But it's not easy sometimes.
