The only people who benefited from involuntary employment were the slave owners themselves and the children of the slaves. The slave owners benefited because they had cheap labor. The children of slaves benefited because they were out of that African (*)(*)(*)(*)hole.

Slaves were too unproductive to be a general benefit to society (the South was poorer than the North). And, since the end of slavery, and into perpetuity, blacks are a tremendous burden on society.
