When I was a kid, I remember the Kool Aid man breaking though cinder block walls and he didn't wear pants. This wasn't a problem because -- as a juice pitcher -- he wasn't anatomically correct, so to speak.

I don't know when he started wearing pants, but it is only recently that I noticed it. Is it possible that, as a symbol of the far-right, he had to conform to Ashcroft-ian standards of morality and decency?

I really don't know the answer. I don't think I am going to think about it since being politically correct isn't generally speaking, an Ashcroft thing but more of a liberal thing. Maybe they should bring the koolaid man back and make him anatomically correct and let him let it all hang out and see what the reaction is. Maybe he could do a commercial with Paris Hilton so instead of her rubbing her barely clad body against a car, the koolaid man could douse her with the fluid from his body.

has been embraced by the right. Yes, the left invented it, but like all bad political ideas both sides wrapped their arms around it. I think the Kool-Aid man is gay.

Saw a clip this morning about a Taco Bell (?) commercial, they matched the Paris commercial frame for frame with a scantily clad biker dude, gyrating and doing the provocative moves while eating some kind of new 'wrap'. "Disgusting", just doesn't cover it!!!
