Default Split GOP&Bush to make the GOP the minorty party for decades

If we want to weaken the Republicans, ruin their causes, make them the minority party, we must concentrate on Bush! Have the Republican Senators against him. This can be done if the Republican senators see a threat by the Bush administration to their reelections. We can split the GOP and Bush by turning the country against Bush. Then the GOP would try to save their party/power by removing Bush. But W. Bush is not Nixon. He lives in an illusionary world. He won’t go down in flames without a fight, and he will use all his power to stay alive. This fight can transform the GOP to the minority party for decades.

So, to ruin the GOP, we must concentrate on destroying W. Bush.

We can put a list together:
1. President George W. Bush polarized the country and unites the World against America
2. After 9-11 the American were traumatized. President George W. Bush exploited voters’ trauma for political gains
3. President George W. Bush have put the US military alongside the Afghanistan’s Northern Alliance, the very same people that harbored Usama Bin Ladin in the late 90s when he was expelled from Saudi Arabia
4. President George W. Bush instructed subordinates to fix pre-war intelligence so that the USA can invade Iraq
5. President George W. Bush labels any critics of his as “unpatriotic, emboldening the terrorists and putting the American troops at risk”
6. President George W. Bush is blamed by South Korea to force the North Korea go nuclear, while North Korea blames the USA for dividing their country
7. President George W. Bush’s policies turn ordinary people into terrorists, energizes the Anti-war and anti-American movements. Makes ordinary people in the world unite and seek to harm America
8. President George W. Bush is America’s image, having gone as low as possible, but with still more room to go, unless we act to stop him
9. Somehow President George W. Bush’s steaming economy might never produce a surplus, leaving us wonder if he is serious about it
10. President George W. Bush said: “You don’t change a leadership in a middle of a war”. He have factored the Iraq war to help him get reelected, except that we was surprised why the Iraqis didn’t buy his plan. It seems that war is his way of diverting attention from the country’s issues.
11. President George W. Bush purposely provokes insults and irritates, while appearing in good faith, carrying, genuine and noble. He puts a nice face for the ignorant, but ruins the country behind the scenes.
12. President George W. Bush’s self proclaimed “War on Terror” in fact increases the terrorism, as a progress on terrorism is measured as to how well you isolate a few extremists from the vast majority of the population. Nowadays every single American patriot wonders how to stop President George W. Bush but every person on the planet wonders how to help the Anti-America war. President George W. Bush is helping build solid terrorist infrastructures, and a permanent shift of the views of the people of the World of the Americans
13. President George W. Bush behaved as a 5 y. o. immature boy when it comes to Iraq. The “Mission Accomplished” after 2 years only reads:
- 200+ billions diverted
- 1000 + G.I.s killed
- 10000+ wounded, many handicapped
- 100000+ social handicaps, unable to reenter social life and hug their loved ones
- 1000000+ traumatized Iraqi children
- Images of the US Army bombing heavily populated areas, killing innocent children, Abu Graib, leaving unarmed and wounded human beings to bleed to death for days locked in a Mosque, then coming back and shooting anyone breathing in the head, like rabbits
- A generation of terrorists that we’ll face long after President George W. Bush is dead
- Emboldening China and other countries to pursue territorial gains
14. President George W. Bush threatens women’s right to choose and the Social Security
15. Please help build this list, as I am not a very knowledgeable person in the matter………

The key to turn the voters against Bush is as follows: any combination of the list above can be OK for the average guy to digest, but them all put together, is deadly.

Once Bush’s support is very low, the GOP will look for an excuse to remove Bush. The Downing Street memo can do it – no problem!

Concentrating only on Bush will ruin the Republicans’ causes.

I'm all for principled opposition and can respect hard-nosed political strategy, but do you have a higher calling than destroying the GOP?

Besides, it probably won't work. Parties routinely distance themselves from second-term presidents that have waning popularity. Bush isn't likely to take the party down with him even if he wanted to.

Default It's pretty hilarious indeed that outsiders feel they can

split the republican party through these sorts of laundry lists of misinformation parroted from alternative "media" sites...

A more likely split would come from moderate and south park Republicans distancing themselves from the religious right.

Default Right, Catz.

The GOP may just split itself. With no help from anyone. There is a significant fissure developing between the RR and fiscal conservatives who don't think a pseudo-theocratic state is a plus. Particularly in the rust belt. I don't think it has much to do with Bush, really. Although fiscal conservatives certainly cannot claim him as one of them.

Whereas the Democrats will go down together in one giant lump of congealed goo.

Default What do you mean WILL go down?

It's already happened. But as politics typically goes, the other side will do something so stupid that the opposite side will rise from the dead. Only to do something stupid themselves, thereby reversing the whole thing. It's an endless loop.

You've definitely put some important issues on this list. The lack of interest from Republicans in investigating and addressing these sorts of issues is troubling.

We can add that President Bush has made great strides in allocating more money to the wealthy and taking away from the poor through unfairly distributed tax cuts and cutting valuable programs for the less fortunate.

Also President Bush squandered the budget surplus that President Clinton left him with, which set the US on a course of paying down the national debt. Instead the country has been dragged down into enormous deficits worsening the national debt.
