an invasion is not necessarily a hardship on a PERSONAL level. Most people in Iraq have not had family members killed. An ENORMOUSLY small percentage of people had family members killed on Sept. 11th, or in the gulf war today. therefore, the entire question of personal harship doesn't really say much. it doesn't mean they think the country is any better off, as the majority of people's lives haven't changed on a personal level. that's all that question is saying! it is simply saying, for what you had to do, is it worth having saddam gone. they say it is, as they didn't have to do anything! on the other hand though, on a national level, they believe the country to be worse off. if you have ten people, and 3 of them die, the other 7 could care less personally, but when asked about taking EVERYTHING into account, as they do in question number 2 or 3, a majority believes that the US is a worse evil IN GENERAL.

well, i shouldn't have to be holding your hand through a simple newspaper poll in the first place.

Only 25% Said the inavsion made things worse...they thought the invasion made things better by a 2 to 1 ratio. A bit more than the 1% difference you imply.
"3. TAKING EVERYTHING INTO ACCOUNT, do you think the coalition invasion of Iraq has done more harm than good or more good than harm?
Total Baghdad Shi’ite areas Sunni areas Kurdish areas
More harm 46 59 47 56 2
More good 33 18 28 20 97
The same 16 21 19 16 1"

4. Is IRAQ much better off, somewhat better off, somewhat worse off or much worse off than before the U.S. invasion?
Total Baghdad Shi’ite areas Sunni areas Kurdish areas
Much better off 11 3 7 7 41
Somewhat better off 31 21 34 19 58
About the same 17 19 19 18 1
Somewhat worse off 24 37 26 27 -
Much worse off 15 18 11 28 -

I still don't see 25% disagreeing in either question about Iraq IN GENERAL. Sorry. Dont see your point.

It never said that specifically. Give me specifics and show me the logic in how those questions relate to Iraq IN GENERAL, or to how they see the US invasion SPECIFICALLY. Those questions you give are microcosmic questions that are virtually irrelevant to ANYTHING MACROCOSMIC.

Your entire posts are a mistake. They aren't a simple "error" missing a word in a poll analysis, which i dont even have time to read over as im at work and blazing through this in between tasks. And I admitted my mistake on top of it, which puts me even further ahead of you. It wouldn't have mattered if I had not have made a mistake as you don't understand it anyhow, so what's the problem? that's why you are an ignoramus! get it? hahaha.

Do you really believe most Iraqis would not consider the invasion a hardship? That is the worst attempt at spin I have ever seen.

You dont think there are other hardships besides having people you know killed? Do you think the Iraqis that responded to the poll would split hairs in the way that you are doing?
