This forum is a total waste of time for any person who has a lick of common sense or morality.

The Rove case shows the basic difference between run of the mill progressives and your run of the mill neocon scumbag. Progressives sure as hell aren’t perfect, but occasionally they admit that their side isn’t perfect.

Karl Rove, AKA spy for every foreign intelligence office in the world, is obviously out of line.

This is a fact, YOU IDIOTS WITH NO MORAL FORTITUDE...

A neocon will always run to the defense of his master, always licking the boots of those who would kick her, no matter what the case.

Look at the evidence (as opposed to the hype and lies of the neocon scum machine ***)…

Rove coughed up Plame’s name – a CIA operative – to a national columnist who printed it and resulted in her cover being blown. The CIA filed a criminal case, something they don't do if the "cover of desk jockies" is blow. Her cover being blown in turn jeopardized the network of American spies who had contact with Plame. We will never know how many people were outed or killed because of Rove's sociopath behavior.

Rove sat quietly while the national news bantered this around month after month, when he knew the facts. Yet he never spoke up. This usually indicates that someone is STUPID or a KNOWS THEIR WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUMB_ASSES.

He did break the law, he should be prosecuted and shot by a firing squad – but let’s say he gets off on a technicality, like they didn’t read him his rights…

At the very least the Re-PIG-licans should be asking for Rove’s resignation, but they aren’t. They are running to his defense.

We have more than one currently active Rove topics. If they were still on the first page, I certainly would combine them - unless of course you can give me a good reason why we need so many topics on the exact same thing.



Deathofpolitics, it might be a good idea if you were to find and read the other Rove topics. Much of what you call "evidence" has already been debunked. In the future, I suggest you research new topics thoroughly before posting them. You seem to be relying on last month's talking points.

Sandy Berger was caught stuffing classified documents in his drawers. Either way, many conservatives on this site have said that if Rove is guilty then he should be fired and prosecuted. The problem here is that no one wants to wait for the WHOLE truth to come out. All that I have seen seems to indicate that Rove did nothing wrong. There has been no law broken. Even liberal talking heads on CNN have said nothing will come of this. That's why all these threads on Rove are a waste of time. Life is not a 30 minute sitcom where you get answers by the end of the show.

Even a cursory read of this board by an outsider would show your statement above to be true. I've never seen a bigger bunch of partisan hacks and rationalizing Kool-Aid drinkers in my adult life. NEVER. It's almost to the point of comical. Well, actually it is comical. Anyway....

That having been said, the Rove issue is yet another non-issue. Assume he did everything you think he did. So what? Who was harmed? One lady maybe. That's it. Big deal. Any time spent on Rove is wasted. Even if he were fired what difference would it make? None.

There are other conservative types here who aren't Kool-Aid drinkers, either. But far too many are. It sort of reminds me of B'net, although the Kool-Aid was "progressive" Kool-Aid there. All eco-friendly and what not. No sugar and tree sap flavored.

And being for the war does not necessarily make one a Kool-Aid drinker. There are good arguments for the war and I get that. As you know, it's not like I am some big anti-war hippie dude.

On a lighter note, my company has an anti-"thong" policy...i guess our president is a little out of touch with current terminology involving this sort of footwear...and there is much speculation as to how it will be enforced.

Very true. There were also right wing Kool Aid drinkers on B'net. But it tended to be dominated by the left. Here it's the opposite. But no doubt there are people here who hate what Bush does simply because he does it. It's OK to disagree with someone, like with me and you regarding Castro, but it's another to debate someone who is nothing more than a programmed robot for one side. Why bother? You can't reach robots. They are hard wired. Like Steveo at B'net.
