Very tragic pictures. Children missing limbs, burn victims. I don't understand why main-stream media doesn't show this side of war. I think the American people don't really take war very seriously.
You are quoting yourself now?
Maybe you can tell me why fox and the main-stream media never shows casualties of war. Too graphic not the right type of propaganda?

OK I'm speaking to you now, it's very difficult to ignore you. Why don't you go back to the "doggy style" thread. You don't really want to discuss anything seriously. You just want to antagonize people you don't care for.

Default well, i have to admit that messing with you is pretty fun...

But I'd actually prefer you to stick to the topic since I've tried to address it...

Your site is intellectually dishonest because it doesn't differentiate the maimed and killed victims of terrorists from those killed by U.S. Forces, thus creating a false impression that U.S. forces are responsible for all these atrocities.

And, by posting this link, and failing to address this issue, and attempting to pretend that this isn't a real issue, you are also compromising yourself intellectually.

I disagree. I never said who did this but the fact is, after the invasion, casualties of war increased whether done by terrorist or whether we did this during the invasion. It is my understanding though that a lot of these pictures were taken when we first invaded Iraq.

I hope we can be more civil toward one another in the future. I really don't care to be mean or disrespectful.

Default Now, in your mind, amepro...

what more is accomplished by showing the bloody decapitated picture of a victim of terrorists that can't be shown by showing the family mourning the loss of their loved one?

The site you have linked to attempts to lay the blame for these injuries at the feet of American forces. So, it is your opinion, then that American forces are somehow at fault whether or not they are actually killing these people?

Source for this opinion?[/quote]

These pictures were taken March / April 2003. That was during the time of the invasion. Robert Fisk is Middle East correspondent for the Independent newspaper UK. You can read the web site for more info. if you like.
Don't you believe US created casualties of war? How can you have a war and not have casualties?

Default Do I believe the U.S. invasion created casualties? yes.

I would never deny it.

Do I believe that Fiske and others who are extremely anti-war are inflating numbers and creating a false and unduly negative impression of U.S. forces? yes.

Total U.S. casualties so far (source: bbc.com) is 25,000+

total Saddam Hussein casualties:
