And yes, as I said, a majority of the people no longer cares about no WMD's, mission accomplished, etc. They care about where we are now and where we are going. Therefore the issues to discuss should be more current, like what is the progress being done in Iraq, their infastructure, their Constitution and defense forces. When are the troops going to come back. Etc. Americans have to face the fact that we are there and we should make the best of it, either it be for spreading democracy in the middle east or fighting terrorism, or both.

To keep harping on the same debate for 2 years straight is childish.

i will give it a try: "because American people freely elected G.W. Bush (not like bad Saddam) and by electing Bush (fair and square unlike in bad places) the people showed that they want the to liberate Iraq which only was supposed to last few days (be shock and awe, remember) but becacuse of bad people (and i stress BAD) it is taking much lorger. so the case is closed in a lockbox. that's why.

also we got proof that Saddam stole WMD's, you know why? because they were not there when we got there, and we do have the receips of selling it to him NOT to fight Iran bad guys, but to use as oil refinery tools

but it doesn't matter now, because we are no longer there for WMDs, that was just the shock and awe part of it. now we are there to make sure the right kind of democracy is installed, not like the one in Iran in 1980's where western media can not play a role in publicising nominees. that's the only fair democracy is when good zionist folks can control the media and democracy itself.
