U.S. friendly dictators

first it was about 9:11, then it was about WMD, then it was about fighting terrorism, then enduring freedom, then about bringing democracy to Iraqi people. as i remember the US hostage situation started because US gave shelter to one of their friendly dictators, Iranian SHAH......

this should answer all questions for Bush supporters as to why so many around the world oppose Iraq war and Bush administrations fight for "democracy". to those with some brains it should also raise questions as to "so what else is fake?"

US tax dollars and US-backed loans have made billionaires of some, while others are international drug dealers who also collect CIA paychecks. Rarely are they called to account for their crimes. And rarely still, is the US government held responsible for supporting and protecting some of the worst human rights violators in the world.

Well... alot of these were from many years ago, and many of them were our friends before Bush was around. Further, I doube Bush can even name many of those countries.

yea, sorry Pakistans Musharif was not on this list. "america changed so drastically in every 4 years and now with bush, it was bad before, but now it's all about truth, only one dictator friend bush supported!!"

ps: i wonder what changed US into such "good" nation all of a sudden? there was some kind of political koo or people just saw a good movie and started electing good leader and decided to try to do good instead of evil by being moved by a secret force of god all of a sudden

War with one oppressive regeim at a time please. Do you reccommend we launch another 12 fronts to this war? How many cups of spilt milk would you have then?

It seems that your are unhappy with the international and political relations of the U.S. through out history.

BTW how many current dictators are on your list?

Ok. I admit that was funny.

I support Bush because he is less likely to be freindly to dictators than all the alternatives I have seen. Taking out two dictators > taking out none. Slow progress is better than no progress at all, which is what all of the alternatives offered on this issue.

Yup. His dad and Rumsfeld both. I love it how people say "we've changed as a country" in supporting dictators when we have a guy who shook hands smiling at Sadaam as our Secretary of War. See avatar.
