The image I posted was of two lynched Black men surrounded by a crowd of smiling white people. I did not think that the people hanging from the tree were offensive but I do think the crowd celebrating their death was. The people today who bash out bi-racial president would have fit in well with that crowd.
I think the banning of images and threatening speech puts this forum on a very slippery slope. I can understand the banning of sexually explicit material but what I posted was a major part of our history. There are depictions of another human being by the name of Jesus Christ on the cross that are disturbing and in many Catholic homes there are crosses with a life like Jesus nailed to them complete with blood and a gash in his side from a Roman sword.
Being that I am forbidden to post an image of a lynched human being I will try to describe what is involved when a mob of White scum put a noose around an man's neck and hang him until he dies.
First they pick them a Nigra. Then the accuse him of something he did not do because there are times when they urge to kill becomes too much. They surround the man and they hurl insult and they enjoy seeing the terror in his eye. They hurl insults like N*gger, coon, jungle bunny. Then they spit on him. Then they beat him senseless. Then they put a noose around his neck. Then they toss the end of that rope around the sturdy branch of a tree. Then they hoist the person up and he twists and kicks his legs. The blood vessels break in his eyes. Depending on the way the noose is tied he may live for quite a while as he feels he life draining from his body as hateful taunts and angry shout from the mob come his way. Jesus died in much of the same way.
