This test is basically one of whether and to what extent one thinks society should be ruled by the government, which redistributes in various ways what would otherwise be subject to market forces, or by those market forces themselves. I'm moderately capitalistic, and I'm also quite non-interventionist on foreign policy, which is why I score higher than some. I have some definite populist views, though, such as my pro-life stance and my strong support for alternative energy.

Where have all the Conservatives Gone?

Actually, I've been steadily going up on this test in the last few months. I think I'll stay around 50, though.
