Default Another British Political Quiz

This test has 75 propositions and deliberately repeats the opposite of some earlier propositions at the end. However, I find this test to be worth taking because it deals with idealism vs. pragmatism on its second axis and so assesses one's political personality, so to speak, along with one's place on the traditional left/right scale. By the way, don't be offended if this test puts you near Stalin. By the site creator's own admission (in the FAQ's), Hitler and Stalin really don't belong with the democratic politicians because the test would need more extreme propositions to plot them accurately. Here is the link, followed by my results. A negative pragmatism score makes one an idealist, by the way:

1 left/right -0.4066
2 pragmatism -1.6530

Here's my score, though I am somewhat confused as to what it means:

Well, the results show that you are a pragmatic left-winger while I am an idealistic centrist. Does that seem accurate?

Well, I'd like to think that I am pragmatic, but I'm not sure about left-wing. Socially, yes, I am liberal/libertarian. Economically though, I am moderate, if not slightly to the right.

Where do you keep getting these test from, BTW?

I just use the Internet searches "political quiz" and "political test".

I was closest to Tony Blair, though I was slightly to his right and more idealistic.

I'm in the quadrant that's far away from everybody. My nearest neighbor is Charles Kennedy and he's way off to the left. I'd be so lonely in England.
But at least this one doesn't call me a right-wing hawk.

Default You wouldn't be lonely...

...you'd have me to keep you company. I've been spreading the word of Libertarian-Liberalism among my peers, and all have fallen to my logic. Muwahahahaha!!!
