This test is based on the theory I presented in this thread:
http://www.politicalforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=15319 Crime: (0 points) Crime is a result of poverty and social problems and those who punish criminals are the true criminals. (1 point) Crime can be largely eliminated by eliminating poverty and social problems, and when it can’t, rehabilitation can prevent repeat offenses. (2) Crime is mainly caused by poverty and social problems, though society still needs to be protected from some people. (3) Rehabilitation can work only on a few criminals, and most should simply be punished. (4) The government should simply punish criminals regardless of why they committed their crimes. (5) The government should prevent crime by eliminating classes of people who are more likely to commit crimes. Foreign Policy: (0) Leaders of powerful nations are tyrants by definition and should be excluded from participating in the ideal world government. (1) All nations should be equalized both politically and economically. (2) Diplomacy and humanitarian foreign aid should be the focus of foreign policy, with military action being truly a last resort. (3) All foreign policy must follow strict principles of justice, enforcing justice by military action if necessary. (4) What happens in other countries is not my country’s concern. (5) A primary goal of my country should be political and economic dominance over other nations, which should be conquered if possible. Poverty: (0) The poor should be given the money and goods of the rich and the non-productive rich should live under their control to give them a taste of class oppression. (1) The government should guarantee economic equality for all. (2) The government should work towards greater fiscal equality, but not at the expense of social freedom. (3) The government should encourage private charity, but it shouldn’t redistribute wealth. (4) Poverty is not the government’s problem. (5) Poverty is an ideal way of weeding out the incompetent who weigh down on our society and as such, all movements to end poverty must be crushed. Racism: (0) Minorities should be given superior status in our society until whites learn what it feels like to be oppressed. (1) Minorities should be guaranteed equal representation in all major institutions. (2) The government should play some role in giving equal standing to all races, but it should stop short of quotas. (3) The government should enforce laws against obvious racial discrimination but it should do no more than that. (4) Racism is not the government’s problem. (5) Minorities have shown that they cannot compete and movements for their equality should be crushed by the government. Sexism: (0) Women should be given superior status in our society until men understand what it feels like to be oppressed. (1) Women should be guaranteed equal representation in all major institutions. (2) The government should promote women’s equality but without quotas. (3) The government should enforce laws against obvious gender discrimination but it should do no more than that. (4) Sexism is not the government’s problem. (5) Women naturally have a subordinate role in society and the government must put a stop to the women’s rights movement. Self-Scoring: 0-2: Communist 3-7: Socialist 8-12: Liberal 13-17: Conservative 18-22: Libertarian 23-25: Fascist My answers are 2, 2, 2, 2 and 2, making my score 10, in the liberal range of 8-12.
