This article talks about how global warming could possibly delay the ice age that was about to occur.

Pity you did not read the responses on that blog

They rightly point out that the "next ice age" is not expected until about 1,500 years from now - meanwhile back in heat stroke land.............

There is a lot of money to be made by power companies. As more extreme heat and cold seasons get longer each decade, the massess will need to pay more for power, and the demand will increase.

If they could only speed up the process to make global warming faster so we can see more changes each year, that would make for great investing profits.

It's also possible that if it keeps going the next ice age could come sooner.

    Of all the........

Because someone, somewhere is complaining about a neighbour having reflective glass in her window this is a "problem with global warming fixes"?

How do you know the windows were put in to stop global warming? Maybe they went in because she wanted to save on electricity bills or even maybe honk off her neighbour by melting the pruis! Yep! That was it - she was actually a denialist against all measures to save electricity and oil so she got mirrored windows installed at just the right angle to focus on the ever be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed Pruis!

It is a conspiracy I tell youuuuuuuuuuuu!

If it warms enough you will get Malaria in Siberia - you have the right mosquitoes

Send some more of that global warming to Denmark, please! I'm freezing my butt of here. The meteorologists are predicting about a -36C (-33F) wind chill factor this weekend and warns of risk of "light frostbite". Brrrr!

Here's a wacky thought. She could hang a shade down the open side of her carport, so the reflected sunlight doesn't bake the car.

Nah, not possible. We must abandon energy-efficient windows instead, and, by extension, all forms of energy conservation, and, by extension, we must embrace global warming.

We had temps of over 40 the other day - not enough for you?

Here is a thought - instead of installing expensive window that maximise view how about some old fashioned methods that do the same thing but are not as "fashionable"

This is less about global warming and more about building industry fashions

But hey! Any correlation in a storm.........

Nice spin but how about I just leave mine alone. I have tint on my windows that helps and does no damage to anyone else

And this is my point - not everything is about global warming - some of it is about saving money and a LOT of it is about fashion

Problem is they will claim global warming is the reason. If they would realize GW is politics not science they could better look at how to save energy in a smart way

Actually, the next 20 years we are scheduled to experience a routine global cooling.

But every good source of information on this (and I do not include casual blogs in that) talk about how to save energy in a smart way

Bloody hell! Good curtains are a fabulous way to save money on both heating and cooling

    And they are cheap

    And proven

What good source? Ethanol is not helping and probably do more harm.

Wind turbines do little besides taking away land to grow crops on. These things cause the taxpayers big bucks in subsidies.

I see nothing coming out of GW that is working all I see is it is costing us lots of money.

Actually, its due to a certain cycle of the sun we are in. Its literally like an average of 4 degrees Fahrenheit, but I thought I would point it out.
