One needn't be racist to be guilty of reverse racism. The DA may not be racist at all. He may merely be tryng to appease the voters by continuing his support of the victim in the face of evidence to the contrary. I suppose some of you can't tell the difference.

There are definitely "issues" with this girl's story...but let's not throw her under the bus..and lets not simply sling barbs at these "rich white" lacrosse playing kids simply because they are white and may have gotten into trouble before. We should wait for this to sort itself out.

And let's not forget, when Baby Killer Susan Smith claimed that a Black guy had kidnapped her kids in South Carolina, how many White guys wound up under investigation? And when it was found that it was Smith who killed the kids, the jury felt sorry for her and wouldn't sentence her to death, as they should have.

IMO, if there are going to be rape shield laws, they should work BOTH ways. Until there is a conviction, no one's name should be released. Lives can easily be ruined over a false or mistaken charge. Personally, I don't believe in any kind of shield laws, unless children are involved. For various reasons, people lie... or make mistakes.

If the account of the intercepted email was true, at least a couple of these twerps did have some serious "issues", but that doesn't mean they raped anybody. I don't know. Other than in passing, I haven't followed this case. My guess, some wannabe athletes (like lacrosse is an actual varsity sport ) hired a hooker and things got out of hand. Two lessons: #1) Don't hire hookers for your frat parties. #2) Send your kid to a better ACC school than Duke. Wahooo Wah!!!!!
