Did you hear about the Tennesse Prom this year? First time ever they had an integrated prom. The whites still had a seperate prom, and when asked why many didn't attend the integrated prom, they said because their parents didn't want them around blacks.

I've yet to hear any claims as to being "poor, helpless victims". As for the disenfranchisement and holding back, those are to be judged on a case-by-case basis IMO. In most cases these days, the holding back has more to do with class than race (though certain minorities are disproportionately represented in these groups, due to the history of racism). As for disenfranchisement, it is rarer now than ever before... but it still exists. I've had an employer that would never hire any black man if not for fear of lawsuit, regardless of qualification and appearance. There are still a few isolated towns in rural areas where racism is very alive. Case-by-case basis.
The most legitimate complaint however is mostly about how invisible the existing racism is to white males, since we generally don't have to deal with it.

There is truth to that, and that is another challenge altogether. But if you grow up in certain areas... chances are there is truth to it as well.

"People of color" is a term of antiquity and I don't know why it still exists. But you know as well as I do it's a term that means "racial minorities". You're being disingenuous.

I don't know. Nor do you. White people are not a minority, in terms of numbers or in terms of power.

You assume it's all "playing victim". Some of it may be. But not all of it. At the very least, most of the "victim playing" people have sincere belief that they are discriminated against.

It has happened. The legal definitions of hate crime allow for such cases. And if you are being profiled for being white, you are indeed being profiled.
Now tell me... do you actually get profiled for being white? I don't... and I'll tell you, I'd be really irritated if I were.
A lot of minorities actually ARE profiled in public. I think that gives a right to complain to those who are doing no wrong.

No one really is. People who listen to Such people do not do it to hear what it is they are supposed to believe. They listen because they agree.

To believe Anglos will never be a minority in America at this stage of the game is insanity. In case you don't know, as of today there are 90,000,000 nonwhite American inhabitants which is almost as much as the entire population of America in 1900. This equals just over 30%. It has jumped twenty percent inside of fifty years. You gotta be a (*)(*)(*)(*) fool if you don't think chronologically White American dominance is in danger. We've already lost being the definitive American in most Americans eyes (still not the world thankfully) and we're in danger of losing our majority too. You don't think so, check the birthrates.

I don't know where black people come up with the Middle Passage, Slavery, Jim Crow Laws, Segregation, etc.

If you're referring to the black slave trade, racial hate was never synonymous with slavery and in case you didn't know, it was the blacks almost exclusively that ran the african slave trade and had for hundreds. The concept in some of the blacks minds that americans hate blacks domestically because they were originally slaves is simply not true, at least in modern times. It boils down mainly to two reasons, the first and most universal of the two is the anglo belief in america being a european colony and conquered territory. This is the philosophy I follow which also deals with the anglos' hatred for the civil rights act which was designed to exclusively favor the blacks and shed white liberties. The second can be broken down into two subsets. The major one is the contempt for Black crime which far exceeds anglo crime. The less dominant one is the belief that blacks are simply inferior. These two are relative but I think they go together because people who believe Blacks are inferior don't have to necessarily hate them but are likely in a domestic sense. And people who hate the fact blacks cause the most crime don't have to necessarily believe they are inferior but are likely and also likely to hate them collectively. And black hatred for Jim crow and such really angers me because such policies against a minority have been being enacted in the world almost from the beginning of time. I know you guys like to blow us up as the big bad whitey crackers and all that crap but ask yourself, "Is there any legitimate reason why a large amount of Americans should hate domestic blacks?" If you were white and came from a white family, you would too. Bottom line, different races mundanely don't get along. Same as different religions. This all leads to different political policy which will anger the other side and starts grudges that will never go away.
