My black friend and I discuss for hours how great the African Kings, Queens and their whole culture had created great education universities that European whtes would send their children to. Later on the Europeans came down and shot the blacks; who were flying around the pyramids without machines, right out out of the sky. Oh, I forgot, when the stupid whites were living in caves during the Dark Ages, it was the blacks who rescued us, educated us and so forth, then we paid them back by shooting them out of the sky.
I was also told that the real Hebrew-Iraelite Jews were black and later in the discussion the Egyptions were black. I asked, so you condem the American whites for slavery (granted it was very wrong and wicked), when in fact it was the black Egyptians who enslaved the (true) black Hebrew-Iraelite Jews long before the whites did. I was then told that it was religious slavery (had to believe a certain way, sound familiar?) and not physical. Although different, neither is good. That was his answer to me.
So us whites are guilty of physical slavery while the black on black religious slavery is not as bad.
Another question I had was who and why were slaves sold to the evil white man? Do you really think that in every case a gun was held to the head of the chief and told to sell us slaves. Hmm, maybe they (the African Chiefs) already had slaves and we could give them with materials that would help them so they agreed to selltheir own slaves to get something from us.
Another issue (or fact) I was told about, is that sharks still patrol the waters in the Atlantic Ocean where slave ships pushed slaves overborad when there was sickness or other problems. The sharks "knew" this and passed that informatin on to their offspring that these old slave routes were a good feeding ground for man-flesh.
These were just a few of the insane type "facts" I had to consider with in our discussions. I really, truely tried to understand, but my friend was so deeply convinced by this type of "blacks were the greatest and we wicked whites did such evil" that I could not even find any common ground with him. Sadly (in my opinion) his mind was severely poisoned by reading books that validated his preconceived ideas about history and race relations.
When I hear Sharpton, Jackson and Farrakhan speak it is from the same basic line of insane, hateful, unforgiving, warped, convoluted, twisted and "we are victims thinking" that I tried to discuss with my black friend.
Oh, he told me black is a color and white is not. At the Garden of Eden the "angel of light" was white and tricked the black "Eve". The black race somehow had the "white devil" exorcised from them. So white people are the spawn of Satan the Devil. That is was we are dealing with even now.
Listen to any of these three, Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakhan. Where are their churches. I do think Farrakhan may have one, the other use their title to press their agenda which is (my opinion again) face time on, T.V., money, fame, power and position to influence.
All I can do is pray, pure and simple. "Mankind" is equal, so the ability to convince via, facts, ideas, religion, reasoning will fail. Our own arrogance, being stiffnecked and powered by the strong desire to be "right" corrupts most of our thinking and in how we deal with one another. The attributes of humbleness, forgiveness, truth, patience, honesty and love are severely lacking in our attempt to our try to understand and respect one another.
I hope that we can find our way back to being a good and moral humankind all of us can be proud of. May God our Father in Heaven, in Jesus Christ our Savior and the Holy Spirit grant us the wisdom, ability to forgive and love ring us closer together and most importantly closer and loving with God.

Ivan, I do not know how. My black friend, who is well read in this sort of twisted view of history that they (the Africans) had become so powerul they could fly without the use of mechanical devices.
My overall point was that this type of lunacy is what many in the black community are reading and believing. I hear little bits a pieces here and there when some of the black activists go on the talking head shows.
How do you have a sane conversation when anyone belives stuff like that?
He also told me the headdress that King Apes in the latest version of Planet of the Apes were the same ones that the Kings and Princess wore in Africa when it was the cultural, educational and moral center of the world. I had to bite my tongue when he said that since we were watching that very movie!
