Man, I really want to read your OP in full - but between the enormous-paragraph-on-steroids and statements like...

Honestly, how can you be so racist and full of hate? I mean good god man. Did it ever occur to you that your son was attacked because he's a racist little (*)(*)(*)(*) like you? Maybe it was for absolutely no reason, but I'm a white male and I went to an inner city high school which was only half white and i never got into a fight there and there were plenty of so called "thugs"

Man, you need to look around. Show some love and respect and maybe you'll get some back.

And you're talking about white flight. Nobody made you move into the suburbs. It was all you. You moved there to get away from the diversity.

Is he in earnest? I mean, are his opinions genuine or is he just looking for an argument?

If he's being honest, then I'm curious as to how he doesn't recognize himself as a racist. I think most people would judge his views to be quite racist, if also somewhat common. Personally, I think his viewpoint is the sort of thing that comes from watching too much TV.
