Has years of reverse racism in our society, created this monster?

There seems to be a growing tide of unrest across our nation, due to the discrimination against the Anglo male.

Ummmm, what? Is there a point to be made here? How does anti-Semetic grafiti have anything to do with reverse racism? Are you so thin skinned that you're crying wolf over this, or is that a bad link?

I think his idea is that the perpetuation of reverse-racism leads to racism. Thats acts such as this can be attributed to such thing.

But then the perpetuation of whites are at fault for my woes can and does lead to stagnation amongst some blacks.
Whites not recieving scholarships becasue they are the wrong skin tone can lead to such things.
etc etc etc

Goes for everyone really...if there is a real or even pervcieved belief that someone is being held back or down by someone else that can begin a process of irrational hatred...leading to such acts.

A small correction here - there's no such thing as "reverse racism" - the widespread denigration of and discrimination against white males is just plain racism.

The only thing to attribute is racist xenophobes preaching their bile to their children and neighbors. Your ridiculous boogie-man of 'reverse racism' is so horribly blown out of proportion, so wantonly exaggerated, that your persecution complex comes out in full.

I'm not saying that race relations are 100 percent just and equitable, but I am saying to grow up just a little about the whole thing and gain some perspective. Whatever terrible travasties you imagine you've been forced to endure under the guise of 'reverse-racism,' they aren't a tenth of the problems that are faced by actual minorities. Stop with the blanket statements, stop with the crusade, (because, really, all I see from your postings are snarky comments about blacks) and stop trying to blame your troubles on someone else.

There is nothing about 'reverse-racism' in that article. There are no suspects mentioned, and there was no poor little white boy scapegoated. The logical gymnastics you are doing to blame the actions of some random jerk on this intangible idea of 'rverse-racism' is mind boggling.

I'm not in any form a racist but I am a minority and I do see thing from a slightly different picture from a white guy. Racism is very much still a part of this society. I've been to predominatly white neighborhoods and have been pulled over on bogus stops but let go without incident (maybe b/c I shut my month and not question the officer). Who do you see in the the white house and Congress:white folks. Minorities are severely underpresented in govt. Even in the issue of immgration, the main focus is trying to keep the "Mexicans" out when thousand of Eastern European come to this country illegally and leech of wealfare like crazy. No one ever mentions them, just the latinos

What if you suddenly turned into a young white guy? You might say to yourself "well, this is an unpleasant turn of events, but now at least I won't be discriminated against any more." Then you'd be in for the shock of your life.

- You'd watch TV and movies and ask yourself "Why are us white guys so often portrayed as evil, unhip, stupid, sexless, and cowardly?"
- You'd apply to college and might get turned down because you're a white guy.
- You'd apply to law school and might get turned down because you're a white guy.
- You'd apply for a job and might get turned down because you're a white guy.
- You'd apply for the fire department or ploice department and might get turned down because you're a white guy.
- You'd apply for a scholarship, and wonder where did all those race-based scholarships go to? You'd say, hmmmmmm, maybe I can get one from the $100 million Gates Millenium Scholars foundation, get all excited, and then see that no whites need apply.
- You'd apply for a union apprenticeship and might get turned down because you're a white guy.

At some point, you'd say "Geez, I'll take the being pulled over instead of this - somebody change me back - quickly!"

I'm sorry homie but I gotta call you on your B.S. Orlando Bloom is white and all the women love him. Charlie Sheen is seen as suave and cool in 3 & 1/2 men. There wasn't one black or latin person on Friend, heck even the extras were all white.

Most of the college are overwhelming white. UT and Texas A&M are over 70% white


I go to the law school at UH and most of the student I see are white.

My friend applied for a job and litterally told him he was the wrong color and he's black. Most of the ppl I work with at my job are white and very nice ppl too who look at me as person not some bacteria who came from Latin America (I'm born here by the way).

Have you seen the racial make up of the N.O. or Detriot police department, they are mostly white.

Turn white, get only high, but not excellent grades, and apply to a professional school - when you get turned down in favor of lower scoring minorities, tell me if that makes you feel like a bacteria.

They get the higher scores - and lots of such departments are under court order to hire minorities, no matter how much lower their scores are then whites who apply.
