Academics can be very naive, and someone should tell him that all possible racial differences are out of bounds for scientific examination. Just as the geocentric versus heliocentric theories of the solar system were resolved by church authorities in favor of the former in the middle ages, so possible racial differences are resolved politically, not scientifically, in this age.

I'm pretty sure that if you test ppl of African decent in a western country who has the same educational level as a western the difference would disapear. Much of the development of the brain can be attributed to a rising standard of living.

I agree with that. Much of Africa is far less developed than the West, so the class of people (Africans) cannot be compared with the class of people that reside in the West on an intellect level. As a friend of mine pointed out, when people grow older, they tend to get more conservative. This is actually quite true - just think about your grandparents saying "when I was little we never....." haha

No way, man! I don't want this to turn into a debate on homosexuality or abortion, but I am pro-choice. I'm not a woman, so it's hard for me to even think of what is right or wrong for pregnant women. However, I do believe that if someone thinks legalization of abortion is OK, but only in the case that the unborn child's sexuality can be proven, then they've definitely got an agenda against a minority, and to me that's not cool.
