It is a political doctrine that has destroyed the concept of unity and solidarity forever. Without unity nothing is possible. How does multiculturalism create unity?

Multiculturalism is a political ideology of the American left which promotes identity politics, preferences, inequality and separatism. It is an ideology which has killed the ideal of assimilation.

So you're talking about institutionalized multiculturalism. Yes, of course that is not a good thing. But like most things, the word "multiculturalism" is another word that has been hijacked by the left and turned into something it is not. This is part of the problem, conservatives don't always fight hard enough against the left's constant effort to redefine every-(*)(*)(*)(*)ing-thing. We (due to recent exchanges, I now feel strange saying "we" on this board) should fight harder against this propensity of leftists.
To me, the word multiculturalism simply means the ability of multiple cultures to co-exist peacefully.
Your pessimism in giving in to the idea that the left has "killed" anything, is not helpful. I will never, and I mean NEVER, give in to the fanatical left. By the same token, I will fight (figuratively) against false conservatives who attempt to justify their racism as a fight against the left wing onslaught.
