Alright so we've been talking about integration on this forum a bit. And it seems that certainly having children rased by someone of a different race would be a way to really integrate some people.

And then I thought of all the people (some of whom I know), who went way out of their way to get a Chinese baby at massive expense. Aren't their African American babies to be had? At first I thought maybe it was just racism on their part.

However it looks like that isn't the case. Or at least it isn't the whole story.

I think this is total BS. It this does not sound like it would be part of the dream Marin Luther King had. What are they thinking? Shrinking the pool of people you'll easily let adopt a kid increases the odds they'll stay institutionalized (never a good thing), and with a smaller pool of good candidates some children doubtlessly end up in worse homes. And of course it makes it hard to achieve the true equality I would hope we are striving for!

don't beat yourself over the head to much on this.
it's the what black people wish upon there own
kind. why? because if things got better for the blacks
then the BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY movement would
die, then the dreams of Mr Wright, Jackson and the Black
Panthers would not come true, M L King's dream would.

It is these peoples dream to abandon Kings dream, for a more
radical dream of black Liberation through violence.
