it is the same things as some aspects of womens rights. Women firefighters have to do less work to be a firefighter and they have to hire so many women. IF I'm about to be burned alive, i dont care about equal rights. I want the person who can get me out of there the fastest.

When I see blacks in my community (rare), I cringe because I am waiting for loud rap to start booming or worse, a possible shootout. i could go on and on, but what's the use. I simply want you to see it from my perspective. So, call me a racist, and refuse to have a discussion about this. That is waht I expect. but this is how I really feel, and trust me, there is a reason.

You don’t start dialogs by inventing negative traits that you claim all black people have. Do you even know what a dialog is? A dialog would be done with other Black people to get feedback and pose questions to each-other. You have hid this in a spot of the forum that wouldn’t stand out as a call for a dialog. Just to let you know other white people do not feel the way you do!

lol... that's typical ad hominem... instead of defending the traits I have identified in blacks that most whiotes dont like, you did just like I said you would. You attacked my character. like it or not, this is how most whites feel. And scared of blacks..... hardly... I'm 6'4 and 246 lbs.... there aren't too many people who intimidate me... I'm simply stating the way things are in real society... sorry if that is unnerving for you

thank you. The fact is, regardless of an occasional pinch of humor, i have no hate in my heart or animosity towards blacks. I simply feel this way because this is how I and many other whites feel.

The bible says you can't love God and hate your fellow man. I hate no one. If I passed by a black man who was getting beat up by 4 white bos, i would stop and help the black man. That's that.

But the things I have outlined in this thread are real. They are setiments widely shared amongst whites. I respect the way blacks feel, and I understand why they feel certain ways to an extent. I started this thread in honesty with the intent to lay real feelings out there for discussion.

personal attacks are not necessary and blacks and whites can discuss this thread in a civil manner.

I agree redneck, a white person cannot even make a comment about a black person they get attacked for being racist. Can we not have a legitimate conversation about this becasue yes, this is how most white people feel.
