i agree that no one more qualified should not get a job, however, you white people need to understand that maybe the black man was more qualified. So when they hire the best and they happen to be black white people should not cry racism. It may be new to you but white people are not always more qualified.

Just to clarify, i was in no way saying that blacks are less qualified than whites, trust me I am the most anti-racist person you will ever meet. Skin color makes no difference and racism really sickens me, but people cannot say that whites are the only racist people, every race is just as racist as the next.
All that i am saying is nobody, NOBODY should get anything handed to them just because of skin color, it is the biggest joke in our countries history.

Wrong. I don't understand where you people come up with this stuff.

There is a real fear among white males regarding things of this mature because promoting diversity for the sake of diversity seems to be the thing to do among some companies and universities. There are a ton of job fairs that cater specifically to race and gender. Someone posted the Boeing website, and their diversity page which was absolutely ridiculous. The next 4 or 5 job fairs catered strictly to women and blacks. What kind of joke is that? They might as well have a sign that says "White males need not apply."

The university I graduated from use the number of african-americans they graduated and accepted as some sort of marketing technique, or pat on the back. It's this sort of thing that bothers me.

Affirmative Action needs to go, and people need to be hired and selected based on merit. There are far too many people who think they are a saint for forcing diversity in their companies rather than selecting on merit. The fad of "My company has every single race on the planet," needs to go.

The reasons that global corporations are forcing diversity is that they want to promote a global workforce. If you want to see an industry dominated by white males, go to any company on Wall Street. Outside of the finance sector, multi-national companies want to attract international candidates and appeal to their customers as tolerant and accepting. Like it or not, the 3rd world nations in Asia, central and south america, and the middle east are growing in financial strength and consumer clout. Its just capitalism.

I don't want to see an industry dominated by white males, I want to see industry dominated by the very best people for the position. I find it so funny that immediate response by someone who at the very least sounds like a liberal is by injecting race back into the equation. I said skin color should not be forced in companies. You then say that diversity is being forced because of an industry being dominated by white males that would not be accepted by other cultures. So am I supposed to gather that other races are completely racist and think of white men as the enemy, and this is completely acceptable, but someone who wants to remove race from the equation is a white supremacist? I grow sick of even responding to this liberal bs.

honestly, i think that black people have every right to be mad. oh yeah, that little incident from 200 years ago, the enslavement, rape and murder of black people solely because they had the audacity to be born a different color? i guess its easy enough to stand up on that pedestal and look down to condemn the anger of black people at white people in the US. i hope you realize that the fortunes of nearly every white person in this country are founded on the backs of slaves. and you wonder why they aren't patriotic and they don't kiss your royal feet every time you walk by? why feel like you're walking on egg shells around them? they are people too. and they probably don't care what you're doing and whether you're staring at them waiting for them to blast music just because of their skin color. and honestly, black people deserve all kinds of advancements; having to spend years in poverty and being treated like property can really set a group back economically and politically. its not an excuse: its a reality.

I'm white-hispanic. Which means I have a white parent and a brown parent. I look white, but don't burn in the sun. I am what's called a "day walker" like Blade lol... (As we all know the sun is white's worst enemy...)


I generally get along with black people. Black people don't ask alot of questions, and live more simple lives.


They don't give a crap what you think of them, or some obscure (*)(*)(*)(*) like that. They just want food to eat, friends to hangout with, and someone they can loveup.
