sad but true, Obama will mean yes there is racism, but if you have ideals you can stand for them, but even Obam's election will not lift people out of the ghetto, the only thing is work, but then even that might not be enough for many whites, blacks have to over prove their abilities in general.

You cannot possibly understand the way Americans of African Descent feel, or want. In point of fact, a lot of us, even though we may not share his political views are proud of the effort being made, because he is the first Presidential Candidate to come along who doesn't come off espousing some kind of "Entitlement Mentality" and can express thoughts without putting it in the form of a rhyme or catchy turn of phrase.

Or is it that you fear that we as a people are discovering that such things are possible. The historical significance of his candidacy is undeniable and he will have a much venerated place in history as the first "Black" presidential candidate to be the front-runner in a Presidential Election. Even if he is not successful in his bid for the presidency, the political effects are undeniable. For the first time, Americans of African Descent are participating in an election on an unprecedented scale.

Whatever your reasons for posting your bigotry, it's becoming clear to me just how little you see beyond your own stereotype.
