I think it would be pretty easy for an omnipotent God to provide us with a true codec of morality that is written in a language that needs no translation and requires no interpretation.

Constantine and Nicea had nothing to do with the Bible old and new.

I am uncomfortable saying God does not exist because He has never showed Himself, Jesus aside- I am talking about God. Joseph Smith claimed to see God but then again that's Joseph Smith.

Because "god" is a figment of the human imagination, and does not exist.

Next question.

God wants us to have faith in Him. If He were to reveal openly Himself, we would have knowledge, but not necessarily faith.

For those who do have faith, He has been revealed. I see God every day, all around me.

i exist, you exist, mom created us from a single cell (sperm/egg) and from there evolved into what we are now.


the perfect liar is one that claims god is some dude on a thrown when our everything is mother nature (he is a she)

You got it backwards. Back in the old days, at least according to the Bible, God engaged in sacrifice contests, He appeared directly before people, etc. I'd be fine with "what's always been acceptable before." But when we try to ask for the same evidence that was given to people in the Bible, people try to change the rules on us.
