There is evil in the Quran just like there is evil in almost everything man use as a political justification. The Quran is a religious book, Islam is a way of life, and Sharia is a political system. Islam is more than just a religion. But there's no evil in the words, only as you said. There is evil ways man interprets the Quran. But how that is the fault of the Book or God or Muhammad (PBUH) doesn't seem to make sense.
Why is it so many non-Mulsims demand we reform out religion and secularize our religion? What right do any non-Muslims have to dictate how we follow our religion or live our lives? I think that's pretty arrogant.
