Thread: Life After Death Experience

  1. Default Life After Death Experience

Mellen-Thomas Benedict is an artist who survived a near-death experience in 1982. He was dead for over an hour and a half and during that time, he rose up out of his body and went into the Light. Curious about the universe, he was taken far into the remote depths of existence, and even beyond, into the energetic Void of Nothingness behind the Big Bang. Concerning his NDE, Dr. Kenneth Ring has said, "His story is one of the most remarkable I have encountered in my extensive research on near-death experiences." More on Dr. Kenneth Ring’s research

Don't know if it belongs here or not.
    Very interesting read.

hard to believe in a time when we're facing a banking crisis that many of the banks created -- are still the most powerful lobby on Capitol Hill. And they frankly own the place,"

I find it interesting that everyone who reports a near death experience reports nearly the exact same thing. Regardless of religion, belief/non-belief in the afterlife, age, ethnicity, etc.

What do you make of that?

I've asked the question before and never got an answer.
Energy is neither created or destroyed, merely changes forms. So if we are energy, when we die, our energy must go somewhere.
Then I read this story, and was wondering if that makes sense?

Our "energy" is lost just as any other energy through the entropic process, loss through heat energy.

As for why all people experience the same sort of near death experience, our brains are largely the same. Hence the same type of experience under similar circumstances.
Just because I find your religion silly does not mean I am an atheist.

I can understand people being fascinated by post death possibilities, but can't understand how anyone could read that and consider it anything but complete fiction.

Well that wasn't very uplifiting. But does have validity to it.

There is no loss of energy when we die. A dead human has the same energy as a living human. The only difference is what the energy is doing.

NDE can be replicated in a lab. There's nothing mystical about it at all.

That makes no sense. Humans burn calories, energy. If we don't consume calories(energy) we will die in short order.
A dead human is no longer burning calories and not consuming any either.

Consuming calories doesn't create energy. The energy was there all along.
