Default US judge rules in favour of man who attacked atheist dressed as the Prophet Mo

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzGTaEQebfE&feature=pl ayer_embedded"]ABC 27 covers the story of the zombie Mohammed court case - YouTube[/ame]

Man dresses up as the Child raping prophet Mo on Halloween. Muslim man attacks him. Charges filed, goes to court. The Judge, who is also a Muslim, rules:

"Having had the benefit of having spent over 2 and a half years in predominantly Muslim countries I think I know a little bit about the faith of Islam. In fact I have a copy of the Koran here and I challenge you sir to show me where it says in the Koran that Mohammad arose and walked among the dead. I think you misinterpreted things. Before you start mocking someone else's religion you may want to find out a little bit more about it it makes you look like a dufus and Mr. (Defendant) is correct. In many Arabic speaking countries something like this is definitely against the law there. In their society in fact it can be punishable by death and it frequently is in their society."

Can't wait until the US gets an Islamic president and starts "liberating" those of us who live in secular countries.

The man who dressed as Muhammed was looking for a fight. He got one. He deserved it.

I don't see the problem here. You stir up trouble you accept the consequences.

Agree, if you go out of your way to offend someone and suceed, you are no victim.

I"ll bet if someone dressed up like Stalin and walked around with a sign saying, "come join my religion." there would be a few atheists screaming bloody opression.

To be clear this jack hole was attacked because he deliberately provoked and disrespwcted others, there is nothing about being an atheist thar saya you have to be a jerk, and being an atheist is not an excuse to be a jerk.

If you disrespect people, don't be surprised when they disrespect you right back.

It's disgusting how you justify violence. But you've said this kind of thing before so I'm not surprised.

I should be allowed to offend you by not believing in your myths.

    lol

The insane Muslim had the choice to throw a punch or walk away. The fact that the judge ruled in favor of violence is disgusting.

So if someone offends me, do I have permission to attack them? Silly.
Just because I find your religion silly does not mean I am an atheist.

Right, i am sure you are aghast at every bar room brawl.

Apparently, even atheists arw open to emotional attacks when they disagree with atheist dogma and actually use their brain.

Yep, being responsible for your actions and having a modicum of civility is just wrong. Why you should be able to dress as a nazi and walk into a synogoge, and any insane jews are just out of line. I mean you should also be able to walkninti a dat care center with a sign that says, "i am a kidnapping pedophile." anyone who punches you is obviously insane.

When you succeed in provolking someone, you are not a victim. Funny how when the courts disagree with an atheist, thet are all victims.

Whatever you say, but thar is not self worship in the slightest.

Its not ypur beiefs that offend, its being deliberately disrespectful of others beliefs that is the problem.

Tell me, why should anyone treat atheism with respect, when you defend and encourage the deliberate disrespect of others peoples faith? Are we not allowed to disagree with you faith?
