Oh, God can't do it himself?

Is the imaginary friend you believe in so weak?

Weak? I wish he was weak then I could ignore his power. No my friend, he has revealed himself to me and weak he is anything but...

You just said that he can't fix amputees himself and so has to rely on science to do it. That's WEAK.

It appears that you are seeing things. That's a mental illness. You should get that seen to.

Yes, you're right, I don't understand how people can look at science, doctors, etc and when those people do heroic work people like you thank your imaginary friend instead of the people who actually did the work!

    Is that what I do?

Again, you don't understand. Pat yourself on the back for being so awesome.

No, the concept is different..... Atheists can observe many miraculous events, the difference is that they come from the mind and will of the individual.

The mind is miraculous and beautiful, we haven't even begun to tap into the possibilities of what it might create.....
We are much too busy chasing absurdities to realize such an existence.

However, sometimes there are things that happen which we legitimately don't understand. However, all that speaks to is the reality that human minds are limited and our current knowledge of science and medicine is limited. Something miraculous and unexplainable today, will be mundane and easily explained tomorrow. Assigning that region to god, basically confines God and miracles to an ever decreasing pocket of ignorance. If religious people accept that, then God becomes smaller by the second, until eventually we will understand so much, that what is left to god will be so minuscule that the God hypothesis will become completely irrelevant. There has to be some better space for God to occupy in the minds of religious people!!
And so you ignore them even when they are documented.

Isn't that what the original thesis was about?

Is the intent now to find the most condescending or creative excuse to avoid them?

Really, the miraculous healing of someone else comes from the mind, eh?

Any excuse is better than God? Just because?

Who has the best excuse to avoid mircles? Which atheist will win this contest!
