I started one, btw, but so far people are having a hard time distinguishing it from the matrix, which may be my fault. I'm much more interested in the implications it raises for the problem of evil and free will in general. Feel free to drop by and stir things up!
I have the body of an 18 year old. I keep it in the fridge.

The reason I believe in God is because the alternative makes no sense to me: that the universe popped into existence by itself. I do not believe in self-created universes.

I understand that leaves the question: who created God.

The answer to that is that no one created God -- he always existed. He must exist because he is the necessary being.
Why can God have always existed but not the Universe? Welcome to infinite regress.

We know the universe did not always exist, astronomers know it is several billions years old, I don't know the exact age. The point is, the universe is finite in time and also finite in space. A finite universe cannot be all that is.
No. That's a gross distortion of the facts at hand. We don't know how long the Universe has existed. All we have is how long the Universe has existed in it's current form. The Big Bang is merely the start of the Universe as we know it and the lfarthest point back we can gather data.

The evidence of God is found in the finest complexities of string and quantum physics to the massive expanse of the whole of the cosmos. There is a God.
    Typical rightwing religionist gibberish.
Of course fanatics who believe will 'feel' that she exists, seek ministries and write under 'inspiration'. All this is evidence for is their belief. Duh!

No, there is no evidence that there is no god, just as there is nothing in the snow to disprove that Yeti exists. lol
By all means let's be open-minded, but not so open-minded that our brains drop out.
