Jazz fusion is possibly the only evidence I will accept to prove that evil does exist.

Hmm. OK, so this would appear to be more general than I first thought. I'd read something about this having to do with a religious employer receiving government funds. I guess it's just Obamneycare stepping on everyone's toes..

Reporting from Washington — The Obama administration announced Friday that it would give Catholic hospitals and other religious institutions an extra year to comply with a new requirement that most health plans provide contraceptive benefits at no cost to their members.

The administration, however, held fast to the mandate that most health plans eventually offer free contraception. That infuriated Roman Catholic bishops and some other religious leaders who had vigorously opposed the rule as a violation of their religious liberty. They wanted a broad swath of religious organizations exempted from the rule.

Important election-year constituents — women's advocates and liberal groups — were delighted by the administration's hold-the-line decision. They had been worried the White House might exempt large numbers of religiously affiliated employers, such as Catholic hospitals and universities.

Places of worship, including churches and synagogues, already were exempt.

By refusing to broaden the exemption, "in effect the president is saying that we have a year to figure out how to violate our consciences," complained Cardinal-designate Timothy M. Dolan, archbishop of New York and president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

"in effect the president is saying that we have a year to figure out how to violate our consciences," It's funny to hear such words coming from a member of the same church that has tortured and killed innumerable people throughout history while attempting to make Catholicism dominant in Europe and the New World.

No it has nothing to do with that and everything to do with the fact that an employer is an employer is an employer.

    Do you believe in love?
Very much so to the great pleasure of my wonderful wife who shows me just how much she loves me just about every night... and twice on Sundays.

So you believe in love? You mean to tell me you believe in something you cannot see or measure? Well then, the Bible says that God is love so you obviously believe in God.

Geesh, I wish I had talked to you earlier and could have saved us all from this nonsense thread.

IMO you may want to read up on the problems with carbon dating.

A strong indicator of a creator is found in our temporal prison because not one item in the known universe is permanent. Since we have no knowledge of anything that is permanent then we must have been created by an entity not bound by our temporal existence. Every single known planet, star, and person are all moving in the same direction of death. Some will take longer than others but the indisputable and immutable one way street cannot be denied.

if you love someone else, what more proof do you need, may not be able to measure pain, but can still tell when something is hot to the touch

if God = love, then I believe in God, cause I God (love) many people, but that is not the God talked about in the bible

to me God is the interconnectedness of us all, in the same way a cell is a part of you and I, the collection of those cells make us in the physical world, same is true of God only were all a part of in the spiritual world

God = Everything, Everything = God

belief is what is important, not so much what you believe, for instance, an ordinary sugar pill without belief helps no one, but with belief it can cure your ills and it can be quite the amazing little pill - the magic really comes from within
