Thread: Is God aggressive?

  1. #1

    Default Is God aggressive?

There's not many God concepts that I've heard of where the God in question doesn't display an aggressive nature whether by direct or indirect intervention. This seems to be a logical way to maintain an authoritative presence, but it also seems like an intrinsically immoral way too. Why is God so aggressive?

I think pregnant women are sexy.

So I support partial birth abortion.

    Because I can't afford formula.

God is aggressive because he really hates people.

Why would any God be subject to human standards of morality. Saying a God is immoral seems senseless to me.

    I'm a Christian.
I don't believe in the projection of petty human emotions that have been attributed to God.

Only a fool would believe the Democrats are right about everything or to blame for everything. Only a fool would believe the Republicans are right about everything or to blame for everything.

Then what do you believe and why do you believe? And how exactly do you demonstrate your God?

What morality then does God subscribe to? Realize that if you say "His own" then I will just ask if 'his own' is what he's demonstrated in 'his word', and then ask you to explain to me how he has not demonstrated aggression.

I'm sure by chicken standards humans are considered immoral. Especially the genocidal maniac Colonial Sanders!

Why does God need to subscribe to any morality?
