Nope, you only saw a red dot in the sky that someone told you was Mars. You've never touched it or seen it close enough to know it's Mars.

You just BELIEVE it's Mars because someone told you it was. Mars is clearly a religion.

Good morning. Is there a trend in these ten (10) threads? Do you know what that trend is? It's the religious. Have you approached a religious person who didn't know that much about their Bible and when asked about it they get all "huffy puffy" about it. Oh no - they won't talk about Their Holy Book, they will try to downgrade you so they don't look stupid for believing in said Book.

Example: If you ask someone why they believed Jesus moon walked across water, why do you need to explain ANYTHING? You don't. It is their beliefs not yours. If they believe Jesus moon walked across water, they need to provide the evidence to back their belief. They ask if you believe in Jesus - you say no, but that doesn't take the fact away that you think he moon walked across a lake.

Evolution is biological science. It must pass the scientific method to be a theory. IF evolution was a theory they (the believers in the religion) would be able to provide experiments where common descent/ancestry was witnessed. In 10 threads - has this happened?

Have you seen anything? I know I haven't....

I want proof that the rock in the sky (assuming there is a sky, I haven't seen proof of this either) is Mars. If you can't do that it doesn't exist.

And here is where you derail. We can't witness thousands/millions/ or billions of years of life on this planet because we weren't there. Likewise, we can't witness atoms but we still have atomic theory. That's your problem, you think that a direct eyewitness is necessary for everything to pass the scientific method.

The advent of the Scientific Method changed this very discussion that had ensued among philosophers from the very beginning, separating the Abstract Thinkers from the Concrete Thinkers.

The Abstract Thinkers actuallt relied upon the axiom that not only can nothing be proven to those people who desire to oppose any evidence to the contrary, but that through Semantics, they have the power to support any lies or truths they desire.

The Concrete thinkers (Conservatives) had long been left defenseless as liberal thinking and pronostifications were eloquently debated in the face of what seemed obvious and even common sense fact.

It was not yuntil the Age of Enlightenment that this Scientific Method established Truth.
Truth was the formation in the mind of a Fact of nature available to peers and people wiling to set up similar laboratory conditions wherein even they would have o acknowledge that their own senses reported the exact same sensations as had been reported previously by others.

Each Fact became a plank in the constriuction of a mental image of Reality.
That image would appear in the minds of all people who like wise used these separate planks of Fact in their own construction of the Truth.
That Truth was an image of the god which is almighty and surrounds us all as the Reality within which we are trapped.

Today, those people who resist living in Reality are mad men.
They avoid a world described by the truths which are the sum the accumulated Facts.
Instead, they prefer the lies used to build their own Fantasy World wherein live the insane.
