After Roberts' Defection on Obamacare, Catholics May Lose their Lawsuit Too
The unthinkable may happen and the Catholic Church lose its lawsuit against the mandated birth control and abortifacient coverage in Obamacare.
The bishops are saying they will have to divest of Catholic universities, hospitials and charities if that happens.
It will be the biggest blow to the Catholic Church since King Henry VIII seized all Church property in England and closed down all the monastaries and convents.

If the Catholic Church wants the right to refuse service to people, then they should pay taxes.

They (*)(*)(*)(*) well should. Why should the Catholic hierarchy decide for the employees of a public business which health coverage it will provide? And anyways, aren't the insurance companies going to eat the cost for birth control because it is cheaper for them in he long run eventually?

So paying a dime extra is going to cause the Catholics to close all of their schools, charities, and hospitals? It sure seems as if they don't have any faith in the God they profess to worship.

The church should lose their lawsuit. Their entire argument was that they were being forced to pay for somethng they did no agree with, but, Obama has a;lready agreed that the church, or any other group that has does no believe in birth control for religious reasons will not have to pay for it, and it will be up to the insurance companies to do so. The church does not dictate what an insurance companies covers. It is no longer any of their business. It is between their employees and the insurance companies.
