Agh, gotta love threads like this - anything that science does, not arrogant atheists mind you, is somehow a victory for atheists? Because all us drooling Christians and others don't understand science?

These threads are nothing more than dogma at its finest - no analysis, no actual thought, just the clarion call of silliness that makes someone else's achievement and advance somehow the mark of atheism rather than humanity. Nice achievement for a belief that is wrapped up in ONE sentence? And yet, somehow it encapsulates all of science to the exclusion of the rest of humanity - what a selfish belief system!

A lot of atheist scientists are a little bitter about how heliocentrism, evolution, and big bang were given the treatment by religious types. Those (very scant few) of you who accept those theories as having merit do not bother the people who write articles like the one in the OP.

The taliban is entrenched in Middle East, YOU claim the people of the Middle East are so smart. If they are so smart, why is the taliban so entrenched in Middle East? Why do people put up with it?

Someday, religion will be relegated to the fringe of society, not to be taken seriously by the masses. That day is fast approaching. The more science discovers, the more myths fall.

Okay, the Taliban is not entrenched in the Middle East. in Afghanistan they are present, and some presence in Pakistan. That's about it. And it was your country that put them there. lol

Oh, I am sure that atheists who are actually scientists are still pissed about a centuries old debate that was proveably solved long ago and accepted by everyone. But ATHEIST er, ... scientists, have decided that what real science is the ability hold an emotional grudge coupled with conciet that they, not science, figured out ... evolution.
