No multiple translations, its a relatively young book compared to Christianity and Judeism. No leeway in interpretation.

Yeah, that's why the two major schools of thought around the Quran are the Sunni and Shi'a.

I guess so, much in the same sense that Christians do what the New Testament to do, Jews the Talmud, Mormons the Doctrines & Covenants.

I'm not Muslim, so I don't really know, but I try not to hand out misinformation on the subject.

Wrong, the New Testimate doesn't order anyone to do anything. They are stories and parables about some dude's life called Jesus.

I didn't comment on the legitimacy of Mormonism. I only pointed out that they do what their scriptures tell them to do, more or less, I suppose, just as most ever other religion does. I don't see how you can hold that against only muslims.

I got to the book, "Women," again, it was a hard read, I didn't like the style, and the message was brutal and unkind. I do not understand your assertions that Islam is a nice or inspiring religion.

Are you suggesting that there is "no leeway" in your interpretation of the Bible?
