I am not so concerned about a womans role with her husband. I am looking for thoughts on a womans role in the church, ministry and spiritual gifts. There are a ton more scriptures on examples of woman. I believe we are free from many of the OT/old covenant laws. When Jesus died and sent the Holy Spirit it wasnt just for men, it was also for woman.

The bible talks about woman not being in "authority" over men. Some people believe that means they can not be pastors, though read eph 4 and it says some are for teaching, preaching, pastors, evanglist etc. Woman and men can recieve the same spiritual gifts, there are no gifts either can not recieve because one is man or the other is female. So if a woman isnt supposed to teach a man because that is "authority", then why in John 4 do we see this from basically a brand new baby christian,

And Yes. I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.

1 Timothy 2
in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. Let a woman learn in silence with all submission.

Titus talks about older woman teaching the younger.

1 Peter 3
Do not let your adornment be merely outward--arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel-- rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands, as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do good and are not afraid with any terror
A Word to Husbands
7 Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered

A Word to Husbands

Any woman who is saving herself for Jesus will find little happyness in her marriage.

Any husband who is forced to spend to much time in the dog house will soon find a cat house.

Let me remind you of Proverbs 18:22 -He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the LORD.
