Personally I believe he could be another Jim Jones(widely known as the kool-aid drinker), but Jones only had about 1100 people brainwashed this man apparently has many, many more. The consequences of him becoming more and more popular could be dramatic, so the FBI should definitely keep an eye out.

He sounds more like, just like the article says, a religious "shock jock." Sounds like a silly guy making a living off religion and trying to make some points against Christianity. The only harm he'll really do is get the Christians so infuriated that one of them attacks him... or that they pass laws limiting freedom.

Is it even possible to have a "serious" conversation about trying to "prove" who the antichrist is?

It reminds me of the time I overheard two ladies discussing what angels do up on heaven. According to these two, apparently they go bowling and choir practice. They were not joking.
