Thread: Athiests do not accept miracles

  1. #1

Default Athiests do not accept miracles

Duryodhana did not change even though Lord Krishna showed cosmic vision (Vishwavarupam). Therefore, there is no use of arguing with such rigid people. He may say that the science will develop some technique in future so that the human body may withstand such huge power to lift the mountain! This means that the fellow will not accept the genuine miracle at any cost. You should not entertain him any more with any further discussion. Salute him and leave him with folded hands saying that he is stronger than the king of this country.

The king, having extreme powers, also may accept the logic in your discussion, but such fellow will never accept you and hence he is stronger than the king. Such fellow deserves highest regards, being more powerful than the king and hence you should salute him before you leave him.

Yep, that has only been shown to atheists a thousand times. So the OP is correct, atheists do not accept miracles.

    Problem solved, thesis proven.

    Good work Dat

What's your next thread going to be about? The sky is blue? Water is wet?

    Excellent post.

Atheists do not WANT to believe in miracles. It's that simple. They can't open their eyes because God moves mountains for people daily and He can for them too. They won't even ask Him.

Wrong. Athiests just don't want to waste their time on something that can never be proved, can never be tested, and will never be revealed.

Yes, it is true. Atheists do not believe in miracles, magic, elves, wizards, goblins, fairies, or any other supernatural thing people have made up!! Everything in this world has some natural explanation. Most of the things called miracles have simple explanations. However, sometimes there are things that happen which we legitimately don't understand. However, all that speaks to is the reality that human minds are limited and our current knowledge of science and medicine is limited. Something miraculous and unexplainable today, will be mundane and easily explained tomorrow. Assigning that region to god, basically confines God and miracles to an ever decreasing pocket of ignorance. If religious people accept that, then God becomes smaller by the second, until eventually we will understand so much, that what is left to god will be so minuscule that the God hypothesis will become completely irrelevant. There has to be some better space for God to occupy in the minds of religious people!!
Im a Tarte, what! you want some of this!

The essence of any utopianism is: Conjure an ideal that makes an impossible demand on reality, then announce that, until the demand is met in full, your ideal can't be fairly evaluated. Attribute any incidental successes to the halfway meeting of the demand, any failure to the halfway still to go.

Wrong. Athiest just love the world, the flesh, and themselves too much to open their eyes to the truth.

Many know the truth, but reject it. This is nothing mysterious.
