Interesting you take a position of debate when I didnt offer any position I stood. I simply copied and pasted text and BAM, you offer many emotionally based rather than rationalised points. Not sure how to interpret that. You use the word "prove", when I havent offered a debatable point.

I seriously do not know why anyone would expect archaic religious books to be humane. They reflect their (very human) authors. Who, as history would substantiate, weren't particularly humane.

In point of fact you did indeed offer a position, in fact a number of positions. You did not simply cut-and-paste verses from no perspective. Not one of the Biblical verses you quote have a 'title' or heading associated with them. Those headings are your own and demonstrate your interpretation & point of view! Not to mention the context in which you posted them to begin with! I suggest you re-read your post.
