I do alot of research before saying anything unless it is something that I know to be true. And the church will not be concerned with losing tithes as all tithes go to furthering the lords work you know full well that we have no paid clergy.

probably not but when it came down to it the Anti Mormons won you over didn't they with things that seem to make sense. All well I guess that in the day of judgment you will know the truth as will all. we are closing in to the end of days I guess it is time to decide where you stand.

I am also a member of the lds church but I will say some of the words were changed due to the fact that the language was a mixture of hebrew and egyptian many things were translated literally first but the complete idea is still there they didn't change the meaning from then to now only some of the grammar.

Why is it that if anyone dissagrees with you, they are automatically "anti-Mormon"? Some of the best counter-points I have read on Christianity, in this forum, have been a great blessing to me. I consider that "pro-honesty" rather than anti-Christian.

Why did Joseph Smith defraud thousands of people in IL on a phony banking scheme?
I think this is like telling the people who were defrauded by Enron that it wasn’t Kenneth Lay who was the problem, it was the people working for him. To which I would respond, “The Captain TAKES RESPONSIBILITY for his ship! He doesn’t fly off to the Hamptons and quickly spend the money he bilked out of people’s retirements. Joseph Smith fled to Utah, instead of taking personal responsibility. My name-sake, “Uncle Grant” was used by a man to defraud $250,000.00 from investors who trusted him. He endured throat cancer and many painful nights to finish his book, to pay the people who lost money, back. NOT ONCE did the LDS church or the minions of Joseph Smith seek to return the money to the people they cheated. And in those days, $250,000.00 was a great deal of money. So in keeping with the Romney code of ethics, you deflect and dismiss legitimate critical analysis with loose, illogical non-sense.
