There were Roman scholars who commented on Jesus. I read a great book called the Jesus Dynasty. There are archeological sources that we can delve into.

Extra-biblical references are how we 'know' Jesus actually existed and is not just a character in a 'book'.

Not familiar with it. I read a book written by John Dominic Crosson called 'The Historic Jesus'. Interesting perspective on the 'man' Jesus, but it didn't reveal anything about Jesus' political views concerning the Death Penalty.

Absolutely, but I doubt they will be of any help in trying to determine Jesus' views on the Death Penalty.

I'd be honored. My first bit of advice: Reject all religion, seek God only.

I'd start by looking in the sound of that Ferrari at 5000 RPMs....and on your wife's tight abs.

Even if you don't find Him there, you'll have fun looking!

Thank you BB but as a "student" may I be so bold as to reverse you search techniques, and start with the abs first, I hope Mrs BillyBob does not spot your pre-deliction to metal over flesh

As a compromise, what about at the same time?

You know, maybe I should check out your wife's abs while driving your Ferrari, just to make sure it's the right thing to do.

I don't want to send you down the wrong path.....

On the other hand, “the spirits of those who are righteous are received into a state of happiness, which is called paradise, a state of rest, a state of peace, where they shall rest from all their troubles and from all care, and sorrow.” (Alma 40:12.) These statements may seem to reflect the traditional Christian view of heaven and hell. (See Matt. 13:36–43.) But the Book of Mormon takes us a step farther. It describes these conditions as being, for most of mankind, temporary. Alma, for example, states: “Now this is the state of the souls of the wicked, yea, in darkness, and a state of awful, fearful looking for the fiery indignation of the wrath of God upon them; thus they remain in this state, as well as the righteous in paradise, until the time of their resurrection.” (Alma 40:14; italics added.) The Bible alludes to that fact in a number of places. David is promised that his soul would not remain in hell (see Ps. 16:10; Acts 2:27, 31), and it was promised that others as well would be delivered from spirit prison (see Isa. 49:8–9; John 5:25). This, in fact, happened when Christ opened the doors of hell to missionary work among the dead. (See 1 Pet. 3:18–19; 1 Pet. 4:6; D&C 138:6–37.) Those who hear and accept the message of salvation, whether in this life or in the spirit world, are raised “unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of (*)(*)(*)(*)ation.” (John 5:29.)You will not hear an apology because no misinformation on my part was passed. As for the Dumbing down of this post you should look up slander and libel in public figures cases.
So what you are saying is this:
"These are they who had testimonies of Jesus through the Holy Ghost and knew the power of the Lord but allowed Satan to overcome them. They denied the truth and defied the power of the Lord. There is no forgiveness for them, for they denied the Holy Spirit after having received it. They will not have a kingdom of glory. They will live in eternal darkness, torment, and misery with Satan and his angels forever. (See D&C 76:28–35, 44–48.)"
Is a lie.
