Upon much research I have come to the conclusion that many sects of the Christian faith believe that Heaven will be where we sing our way through eternity. I believe that people don't seem to understand how completely horrible that sounds.

I want you to do this buy a new computer get it home unpack it set it up and then turn it on. From the moment you turn it on start singing all the hymns that you know... Continue this until your computer has died. (this will take several years) Then go back to the store buy another computer set it up and from the moment you turn it on start singing again. You must not stop. Sing until the computer has wasted away to nothing (this may take a thousand or more years) and then repeat the procedure. every time you get a new computer start singing and sing 24/7/365. Now I don't know about you but after the first hour or three my throat would hurt and I would have to stop but in heaven this won't happen so you can continue to sing without interruption without losing your breath without needing to rest. Just a crude example of eternity of singing only this would be much longer and louder.

Now if that is the eternity in heaven I think I would rather believe what I do and be sent down for eternity if that is indeed where Mormons go. (I don't know about you but I think I could sing about every song known to man in that time and then some)

And you have to distance you self from material things as much as possible.

Close to mine. I'd say not dependent on the body as we are now. I'm a believer in the ressurection. A new spirit/body is the next upgrade. A spirit that can impact and participate in the physical world, just like the firstborn Jesus Christ in his quickened flesh as he appeared to his diciples after defeating the tomb.
