Science depends on the notion of intelligent design.

Seriously, if you guys get such huge boners from scientific theory, for once actually watch discovery channel, national georgraphic, and history..

When you see how easily the human race can go the way of the dinosaur. Not only will you consider the idea of intelligent design, but rely on it to insure we live to see tommorow.

Teach Evolution, whatever.....I don't care.
But within the hallowed halls of Public High School...

50% Drop Out of it (large metro areas)

60% of polled H.S. Seniors have cheated at least once.

for God's sake....teach ETHICS.

A High School graduate has ZERO Ethics as taught in School..and we wonder why the Country is turning to $hit?

Look no further than Public Education.

Thanks Atheists.

Without more context... this makes no sense whatsoever.
How does intelligent design help us survive?
Maybe the notion makes us feel better about ourselves by making us assume we will survive (one theory for why religion is so wired into us is because it helps us simplify our lives by answering questions we don't need to worry about so we can focus on day-to-day concerns).

But still that would only be an explanation for why the belief is useful.
It does not make the "theory" itself any more valid in the scientific sense.

And even that seems weak in that many people, myself included, are capable of getting by in life without believing we are created. Those who need to believe that... well, they do, regardless of what science says.

Or am I taking what you said the wrong way?

This stastic is skewed because we've become more secular, and ethics have dropped.

So if you want to thank athiests, you're going to need to blame them too.

Privatization of school would allow teachers to develop a more personal relationship with the students and have the time to educate them one by one. Really, I don't see what the big deal about school is. School is suppose to prepare us for the future. With knowledge and exprience.

However, only through living can we truly educate ourselves. All school can do is give us the basics. And this might be good for jobs and stuff. So bassically what I'm seeing is the first twelve years of school are completely worthless. College is the only thing that matters, and otherwise, school is just a daycare center for busy parents.

God is all around us man. And even science can't deny that there is alot of truth in predictions from all religious texts.
Could you name one?

Eventually we're going to have to accept the idea of a higher intelligence. I know your pride makes you cringe at the idea of a God. But the concept of God is not loss in in science, and if anything, is heald to a high degree of hope and reassurance.
There is no reason to suspect any sort of god exists. Perhaps you could provide one?

We're going to need God when those last few years of the universe occur and there is nothing nothing in the universe...
Why?

Do I really give a (*)(*)(*)(*) if you think I am or not?

So if I don't care, I can only assume God doesn't care. Being alot less petty, alot more intelligent, and tons more busy... We don't need to explain our existence to ants.
Why do you think the particular god you believe in exists?

So the criteria for your version of a god is just that he needs to know all science great and small?

Nothing supernatural there, so that would be perfectly ok for me.

Why does anyone believe anything?

Don't ask questions you can't answer yourself. If you can believe we can acheive a better government, how is that any less ridicules then believing in God?

Faith is paramount to change.

Please stop avoiding my question. Once again: Why do you think the particular god you believe in exists?

I answerd your question.

If you don't like the answer that's just too bad. And you're going to have to get use to it. Cause when you question God, you're probably not going to like the answer.
