If you don't like the answer that's just too bad. And you're going to have to get use to it. Cause when you question God, you're probably not going to like the answer.
Please stop avoiding my simple question. For the third time asking: Why do you think the particular god you believe in exists?

DanishDynamite,
others may say that you have been conditioned
since childhood to not believe in god. Cool, a
highway that flows both ways.

Now I am sure you don't believe in GOD
because of just one of your many RULES, which
is to never believe in that, which you can not
measure poke prod, test or feel or see.
because that would mean it don't exist. But If I
followed that rule myself, I would have to come
to the conclusion that you don't have a
consciousness. because I know I have one
because I can feel my own consciousness, but
as for you my friend, your rule says to ME that
your consciousness does not exist because
I can't feel it, see it, test it or prod it. or measure
it. hell you might not even exist then.

how silly is that?

Also take note of CODE such as the alphabets
which are only hieroglyphics and are meaning
less until you adopt a meaning when using
them. and you must teach this meaning to many
others to make good use of it, so it's really not
a real physical thing as much as it's an idea.

we call this CODE and we find a more complex
CODE when we look into DNA, and YET you
want me to believe that DNA just happened with
out any creator? that all these cells got together
and hashed out the code? then debated on it
awhile making dam sure it would work, and then
some how showed this IDEA to other cells, all
without a consciousness to themselves?

that it just happened out of no consciousness?

Now what fairy do you believe in? if my GOD is
a fairy tail, look closer at your GOD. your GOD
just comes in a non consciousness state.

You just can not create DNA from molecules
and ALL these molecules learned the CODE
all at the same time, in history and with enough
of them knowing the code and the rules of the
code, all by chance. In a time when DNA never
existed.

oh, and ALL without consciousness to learn
CODE or concepts there of.

The existence of GOD is all around US, in the
study of nature(science) and for those who
can not see it, there is no excuse, Paul said
that in the bible.

Times have nothing to do with anything.

I doubt you have a consciousness. Prove me wrong.

Obviously not. Only an idiot would think so.

Could you provide even a hint of any reason for supposing any god you currently believe in exists?

Many Religions (like mine) say that god is unknowable. Also, I belive in god because of Pascal's Wager.

Quote:
Pascal's Wager (or Pascal's Gambit) is a suggestion posed by the French philosopher Blaise Pascal that even though the existence of God cannot be determined through reason, a person should "wager" as though God exists, because so living has potentially everything to gain, and certainly nothing to lose. It was set out in note 233 of his Pensées, a posthumously published collection of notes made by Pascal in his last years as he worked on a treatise on Christian apologetics.
