Icon9 Candidates profess Christianity but.....

Obama and Clinton both professed their "faith" and being "Christians" and were not afraid to mention GOD.

Many people claiming to be Christians mention GOD all the time but never mention Jesus. Why is that?

Afraid to offend people?

Anyone can mention GOD. There are hundreds of religions in the world. They all mention GOD.

I am waiting for either Obama or Clinton to say they believe in Jesus.

I am waiting............

Don't hold your breath. I would expect them to do the politically smart thing, which is letting people know that they are Christian without emphasizing their particular religion. They have nothing to gain by saying Jesus is the one true god or something like that. It would alienate some people who don't want them to believe in Christianity, and people who do want them to already know they do (or they could easily find out if they checked the candidate's bio).

I wouldn't be surprised if neither of them even believed in God, must less the divinity of Jesus. They're trying to get into office, and it pretty much takes a professed belief in God to do so these days.

What are you waiting for? It will take you about 4 mins to find what you are looking for. Here, I shall do it for you.

Barack Obama:
"I am a Christian, and I am a devout Christian. I believe in the redemptive death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. I believe that that faith gives me a path to be cleansed of sin and have eternal life. But most importantly, I believe in the example that Jesus set by feeding the hungry and healing the sick and always prioritizing the least of these over the powerful. I didn't 'fall out in church' as they say, but there was a very strong awakening in me of the importance of these issues in my life. I didn't want to walk alone on this journey. Accepting Jesus Christ in my life has been a powerful guide for my conduct and my values and my ideals."

I guess this means you will be voting for Obama now.

P.S. Just kidding, I am sure you would never vote for him. You will find another reason. This thread, was more about trolling and showing you don't do research than actually making a point.

Yes they have both been attending chruch and professing their belief in God and Jesus for their entire adult lives as part of a diabolical commie plot to usurp power in America.

I wouldn't be surprised if they both hate America and engage in human sacrifice as well.
