It's not like your side of the fence doesn't have it's share of hypocrisy.

That is the human condition. No one is rightious, we all fall short of God's glory.

The point is that if that is the context, it becomes satirical rather than blasphemous.

But at any rate, my particular use for it is that it's great for puns (I would prefer if I could find an actual "religious cannon" though.

i went to a baptist school.
once while designing a flier for a pizza sale,
i took a clip-art picture of 'the last supper',
pasted a pizza on the table (even a slice in each of Jesus' hands).
and copied it off.

the principal was not as ammused as i was,
and i received a stern lecturing.

we're not even supposed to ever see a picture of Muhammad PERIOD.
if weaponry should be attributed to any religion,
its probably not christianity.
