I think much of the trouble between Christian denominations could be circumvented if everyone understood their own definition of God and God's Actions. Within the fundaments of every religion is the aspect that we originated from somewhere but that question is where?

I am going to lay out who I believe God is and to the best of my knowledge the beliefs of other religions on who he is.

LDS- We believe that God is made of flesh and bone just like us and that he would look like us because we were made in his image. We believe that the Godhead comprises all of divine beings who are one in purpose authority and power yet separate individuals The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We believe that God exists within the bounds of Nature and will do nothing outside of the realm of Natural Law but that where humans haven't begun to scratch a scratch on the infinately wide field of science that God knows ALL science and uses it to bring about his means. We believe that God is loving an that he cares deeply for all of his children and wants all to return to him and he wants all his children to be like him. We believe that he has mouthpieces on the earth that he commands and they speak what he commands to all his children. We believe that since God wants us to be like him we must prove in life that we will obey him no matter the circumstance and that we must prove that we are worthy to share in his power. We believe that God knows all sees all and comprehends all and that he loves all no matter the position in life. Whether one be like Hitler or like St. Peter it doesn't matter because God loves all his children he just is not so happy with their actions. We believe that God demands work from us and that no matter how much you believe you cannot be saved without proving it through good works. We believe he is unbiased Loving and leading in modern days as he did in old days and that he spoke to those on the american continent as well as those in Israel. We believe that though he loves us deeply if we live contrairy to his teachings that he will not allow us to live with him and that he will NEVER take away agency even in the afterlife.

Catholics- While there is only one true God that single being is composed of three separate and divine beings- the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost- who exist together in a mysterious and inexplicable manner. Having one essence yet composed of three separate individuals who perform different functions. Catholics believe that one can be forgiven by imploring the Father and Mary with different prayers one Our Father and one Hail Mary. They believe that God released his words in the Bible yet it is not Complete and Oral sermons fill the gap. Catholics believe that the Bible was compiled and Defined in such conventions as the convention at Nicea.

Modalist- I am not sure as to which religions believe this but this is what I gather. God=Jesus=Holy Ghost basically. These people believe that God is Jesus and that He himself paid for our sins on the cross. These people believe that God is the Holy Ghost when he deems it necessary to be such.

I know my belief best so that is why there is more posted on "our God" and not more on the Trinitarian concept or Modalist concept of God as I am not entirely aware of their true beliefs. If I have offended someone I am sorry. If some information is innacurate please inform me.
